Moore Named DAC Defensive Player of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Mountain View's Madisyn Moore was named the Dallas Athletic Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week.

A sophomore opposite hitter from Duncanville, Texas, Moore had eight blocks, 13 digs, 32 kills and hit .244 as the Lions won three matches last week. She had 15 kills and six blocks in a 3-1 win over Dallas College Richland. Moore added 13 kills and a block, while hitting .458 in a sweep of Dallas College Cedar Valley.

Moore has 203 kills and 35 blocks this season.

Mountain View (7-22, 3-5 DAC) will play at Dallas College Brookhaven (12-11, 6-2) Monday at 6 p.m. The Lions close the regular season at home 6 p.m. Thursday against Dallas College Eastfield (23-1, 8-0).
