Bio

Kristi Washington was named Dallas College Mountain View women's basketball head coach on May 11, 2026.

She served as an assistant women's basketball coach at Mountain View in 2025-26. The Lions played in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South Central District championship game.

Prior to Mountain View, Washington spent three years as an assistant coach at Greenhill School in Addison, Texas. She spent three years as the freshman and sophomore head coach at Clark High School in Plano, Texas from 2014-17. From 2008-14, she was a varsity assistant coach at Frisco Liberty High School. Prior to that, she was the head coach at North Garland High School from 2006-08. She was an assistant for one year before taking over as the head coach at North Garland. From 2002-04, she was an assistant coach at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. In 2001-02, she was an assistant at Howard College.

Washington played at Texas Tech University.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in exercise sports sciences from Texas Tech in 1999. She earned a Master of Science in sports administration/marketing at Texas Tech in 2001.
